me.txt — who I am

I am Madis !! I'm a cybersecurity student based in the Netherlands. As I've already mentioned I am Estonian/Ukrainian. And for NullSec back to how it was born but in finer details, So... 2023-2024 was hit with a wave of nostalgia for Watch_Dogs 1, grew up with it and craved it and I was at a place in life where my interest in the technical and anti surveillance aspects of the game were at a high. And with the combination of an opportunity to push that ofc I tried something. And as I've said as it was made it was destroyed. And I instead channeled that into other "DedSec" like projects at the time that were more so software leaning. Thus the pipeline to CyberSecurity now. And not to mention the immense influence story games have had on my work and thinking, WD1 being the obvious one, was the foundational piece and the reason I've come up with this name. But Titanfall 2 gave me a more intimate understanding of AI and car electronics mainly CAN-bus and OBD-2 interfacing, and Death Stranding STRONGLY strengthened my abilities on hardware leaning projects mainly with ESP32's and mechanical parts.

And for the future I plan to get a job as a Cloud Security Engineer. I mainly head for that due to the fact that it's something of critical importance, and I'd like to be a part of that. Not to mention I just love overly powerful hardware in itself. Didn't go with a insane XEON for no reason.

And for NullSec itself. I am not completely sure with what it is. A business? An alias? A banner to wear? It's more so been a shell of me and reflects actual parts of me so it would be fair to say this is a self expressive outlet.

My music taste is not for speakers. Breakcore, hyperpop, glitchbreak. Machine Girl and Prolaps live in my head rent free. Though I do have a very large soft spot for Deftones, Massive Attack, and The Garden

I am also a very big motor enthusiast, if it has a engine I want it. Currently striving for a Yamaha R1 and a 2003 Corvette C5 ZO6.

cats.txt — my cats, Felix and Taco

Felix: He is my oldest cat, he is a tuxedo and is much of a indoor cat. The bigger fella :3

Taco: He is my youngest cat, fella is like 1.5 years old. He can be antisocial and he really enjoys his time outside walking around.

setup.txt — the machines and operating systems I use

My setup: I run right about every main OS there is. Windows, MacOS, Linux, FreeBSD. Name it. For my main work I like to use MacOS due to the syntax being very familiar (UNIX) and the overall UI can keep me going for hours and hours with no end, and for my secondary dev machine is my ROG Zephyrus G16, though windows syntax sucks ass I did develop a majority of this site on this laptop. Besides Ubuntu WSL comes in when stuff gets overly irritating. And for the Monolith (primary server) it will require its own section.

monolith.txt — my primary server

The Monolith: an HP Z440 tower workstation with a NETGEAR ProSAFE switch fitted into its front drive bay, patched in with yellow ethernet cables.

The Monolith is my primary server, a powerful HP Z440 tower workstation equipped with a NETGEAR ProSAFE switch custom fit inside. It has 2 NICs dedicated for WAN and LAN for my OPNsense VM so I can manage my network infrastructure effectively. For Hardware it runs with the Intel Xeon E5-2696 v4 (22C 44T) @ 3.70 GHz CPU and a AMD Radeon R9 M360 GPU for bare bones diagnostic output when needed. I also managed other nodes dedicated to local inference tasks with an NVIDIA jetson orin nano super, and sometimes with my Mac Mini M4. I used to run with a Pi-4 for DNS and other reasons but after a power outage It corrupted and I was forced to upgrade (not really just had a bad itch for more lol) so I went and got a Z440. For what I manage/run I have a WireGuard mesh VPN setup, with its own AdGuardHome DNS setup. And as mentioned earlier I have OPNsense running with multiple LXC's for sub dockers and additional services.
